5 Self-Care Practices To Boost Your Health

A couple of weeks ago, I came across a Facebook post about being “fake busy.” It says fake busy is when you pretend to be busy by working on useless things rather than important things and being productive. I couldn’t agree more. 

In a world that constantly challenges us to be the best version of ourselves, it’s easy to get caught up with the “hustle 24/7” mentality. When our lives are filled with noise and chaos, we become easily stressed and burned out, which affects not only our physical health but also our mental health. 

Don’t get me wrong. Hustling is good. It’s important to hustle for your goals. But when does hustling become detrimental to your health? When you get consumed by it that you no longer have time for yourself. 

I am a firm believer in self-care practices. Prioritizing your health allows you to nurture your mind, body, and soul so you can restore your energy and be more productive. It all comes down to finding the balance between moving forward and taking a step back to relax and recalibrate.
