Xocolate by FEDCO : Proudly Mindanao

I love drinking hot chocolate, especially in the morning. In fact, most of the time,  I prefer having chocolate over coffee. Nothing makes my day than a cup of thick, rich, and bittersweet hot choco. I’m happy to share with you that I have found a new favorite!

Xocolate is owned by the Federation of Cooperatives in Mindanao or FEDCO. The name is derived from the Nahuatl word “xocolatl” (pronounced [ ʃoˈkolaːtɬ]) made up from the words “xococ” meaning sour or bitter, and “atl” meaning water or drink.

The first cacao product released by FEDCO was the 100% unsweetened chocolate tablets or known to us Filipinos as tablea used for hot chocolate drink.
