- I’m an Ambivert. I’m usually quiet and timid, but when I am surrounded by people who love to talk about anything and everything under the sun, I come out of my shell and join the fun. Shout out to my DBS Fam! But there are also times when I just want to be alone and shut everybody out. Dining out at a resto and watching movies alone? That’s my jam!
- I’m a huge SIMS gamer. It’s the only game I’ve played from the first release down to the latest one, which is SIMS 4. I love it because I like the idea of being able to envision my dream home and get a peek at what my life would be like if I were a painter, chef, writer, doctor or whatnot. I like how I can channel myself through customizing different characters that are similar to my own. Right now my SIMS is a level 6 Professional Pianist and she lives in a tiny yet posh house with her soon-to-be-husband. LOL!
- I play the guitar. I’m far from being the best, but I do have a few tricks up my sleeves. Right now, I am brushing up my skills since it’s been a while since I last learned a new song, because adulting!
- In 2014, I married my best friend ; we’ve been together for 10 years now. We are polar opposites and we rarely like the same things. I guess opposites really do attract. =p
- I have three adopted dogs – Coconut Martin, Yukito San and Sakura Chan. They’re the tiny monsters that add a pocketful of sunshine to my everyday life. They may not be pure breeds, but I love them all the same.
Sakura Maldita! ❤
- Caffeine is my frenemy. I used to drink coffee everyday, but one day, I had a really bad reaction to it. My heart started palpitating so fast, I thought I was going to die. It could be that the coffee I drank from a certain coffee shop that day was too strong. But the next day, I drank another one from a different cafe, my heart started palpitating again. And it was even worst this time because I experienced nausea; I almost threw up in the comfort room! Since then, I’ve limited my coffee intake to once or twice a month. And when I do, I make sure my cup has a lot of milk in it a.k.a Starbucks Iced Caramel Macchiato! ❤
- Four years ago, I suffered from an intense acne breakout. It was the worst time of my life. When I say worst, I mean huge, painful red zits all over my face. My self-esteem sunk. It even got a point that I get anxious at the thought of going out of the house. But thankfully, I wasn’t insane enough to succumb in that misery. I consulted a dermatologist and underwent several acne laser treatments. A year later, I have regained my clear skin and self-confidence back. This phase of my life pushed me to advocate on proper skincare . Some people have called me vain after knowing my skincare rituals, but you know what? I would rather be vain than suffer from bad skin all over again.
- Speaking of rituals, I have this habit of spritzing baby cologne all over my body before I sleep. Not that I’m exaggerating, but I find it hard to sleep when I don’t smell like Baby Bench Bubble Gum or Penshoppe Watermelon. It’s just one of those weird things I do that guarantee me a good night’s sleep.
- I have a penchant for school supplies. I hoard pens and pencils , sticky notes, colored papers, notebooks, markers, acrylic paints, water colors . Heck, I even have 13 tiny staplers lying around the house. Who needs 13? And more importantly, who needs a gazillion of school supplies? Even a student or an office worker do not need this much. National Bookstore and SM Department Store (school supplies section) are dangerous places for me. I’m not alone on this, right?
- I’m a firm believer of right timing. I don’t think I’ve done much in my 30 years of existence, but I always believe I’m a work in progress. There’s so much more to learn in this life and like a wide eyed child, I open my eyes to new adventures and opportunities that come my way. YOLO they say. Keep on chasing life they say.
