What’s New: Starbucks Lunch Sandwiches and Starbucks VIA Ready Brew

I recently learned that Starbucks actually change their sandwich line up every year, which is good, if you ask me. Customers are always in the look out for something new to satisfy their palates and having new sandwiches on the menu every year is a great way to keep the consumers interested. I got to sample SB’s new lunch sandwiches, which I must say, truly made my tummy happy.

TUNA AND CHEESE ON DARK CIABATTA BREAD (₱175)

A juicy pairing of hearty healthy classic tuna dill salad, slices of hardboiled egg and creamy melted cheese on a toasted dark ciabatta bread. Substantial and satisfying. Do you know that tuna is “brain food”?

SALAMI AND CHEESE ON MARBLED RYE BREAD (₱165)

A soft and chewy bread filled with sliced savory salami, provolone and cheddar cheese. Marbled rye bread, salami and cheese a perfect combination.


ROASTED CHICKEN PESTO AND SHIITAKE MUSHROOM ON FLAT BREAD (RETURNING FAVORITE) (₱165)

Juicy roasted chicken breast fillet tossed with aromatic pesto mayo sauce and Shiitake mushroom topped with melted Emmenthal and cheddar cheese on grilled flat bread.


SPINACH ARTICHOKE AND MUSHROOM ON HERBED MULTI-GRAIN BREAD (₱160)

Our new vegetarian sandwich has everything you need for the day. A crusty warm artisan multi-grain rye bread stuffed with a delicious blend of cheese, spinach, artichoke, mushrooms, garlic and onions. A vegetarian delight!

BACON AND CHEESE ON HERBED CIABATTA BREAD (₱165)

A sinfully delicious gooey grilled cheese sandwich coupled with six types of cheeses (Gruyere, Emmenthal, Provolone, Mozzarella, Feta and Cheddar) and crispy bacon strips. Subtly seasoned with creamy pesto sauce on herbed ciabatta bread. The classic, ultimate comfort food on a rainy day.

Starbucks VIA Ready Brew

I also got to take home the famed Starbucks VIA Ready Brew. I’m not a heavy coffee drinker because I have low caffeine tolerance (I easily palpitate), but I did try the Columbia (medium strength). It’s nothing like any instant coffee I’ve ever tasted before; the aroma and the taste is just like brewed coffee.

Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew is made from responsibly grown and ethically sourced high quality Arabica beans. It is roasted and brewed according to Starbucks standards. It includes microground coffee, wherein beans are ground so finely that they dissolve in the cup. This adds aroma, body and flavor to the coffee.

The Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew comes in 3-pack and a 12-pack. The single-serve sachets currently come in two flavors: Colombia and Italian Roast.

COLOMBIA

This 100% Colombian Arabica coffee and is ethically sourced. Enjoy the rich, smooth taste, with that signature walnut-like taste found in great Colombian coffees.
