Mam Bebs: Not Just Your Ordinary Bakeshop

Our first pitstop for the DFAT 2013 was at Mam Bebs Bakeshop (formerly La Suerte Bakeshop) . It’s located just outside the university where I attended college. It has been around for so many years already and yet I never seemed to notice it during my college days. That, or I never really had the time to go outside the school to take my lunch. Anyway, Mam Bebs is not just your typical bakeshop where all you can see on the menu are cakes and pastries. They actually offer rice meals and pinoy merienda at reasonable prices.
Mam Bebs Palabok
Since I knew that my day would be all about food tasting, I decided to order Palabok for a light lunch. I was really delighted when my plate came with generous amount of sauce. I also liked that the color is bright orange with lots of toppings. Yes, presentation matters to me. The sauce was rather too garlic-y for me though, but it was savory enough to satisfy my palate.
Some other dishes you must try at Mam Bebs:
