Last Monday, January 30, my friends (working girls, they’re already famous in my blog! LOL!) and I went out to celebrate our dear Cielo’s birthday. We dined at Gusteau’s Fud Haus (Don’t ask me how to pronounce that.) The place was rather small, but the ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Customer service is great since the waitresses were very accommodating.Gusteau’s Fud Haus is one of the newest restaurants in town located at The Peak, Davao City (Gaisano Mall Rooftop). It is the brainchild of the Lopez Siblings, who hailed from General Santos City. This resto serves mouthwatering seafood that you will surely love.

I wasn’t able to get the names and the prices of the dishes that we ordered because I came in late.

Ocean King Crab |
The king crabs served at Gusteau’s are freshly harvested from Surigao. No wonder it is packed with thick aligue (crab fat) and crab meat. The crab is cooked with garlic sauce, which I am not very fond of. But still, how can you not love a giant crab so fresh and sweet?

Spicy Prawns |
When I say this dish is spicy, it is really spicy. The spiciness lingers to your tongue, which I like. The prawns are cooked to perfection, just the way I like it.

Adobong Pusit |
I wasn’t able to taste the adobong pusit (squid), but my friends reckon this to be a great dish as well.

Chicken Wings |
I can’t remember how this dish tasted because I was too overwhelmed with the crab and prawns. LOL! All I know is that, everything that were laid on our table are delisyoso!
